2024 Festival of Shelters & Ingathering (Sukkot) Gathering in the California REdwoods

For the feast of and Shelters/Ingathering/Sukkot and the 8th Day" (Oct. 17-24) a tiny group of us decided to have a leisurely, yet celebrative, joyful, worshipful, unity-filled, and edifying festival in the California redwoods at Mt. Madonna County Park.

There are several RV camp sites with water and electricity and many tent sites. If is not your thing, there are many other accommodations in the area. If  you're within driving distance you can just pop in for the first and last festival day(s) or a bible study, food, fellowship any day. It's advised to email ahead a bit in case we are on an impromptu field trip like the one we plan to the Carmel/Monterey bay tide pools and white sand beaches to witness even more our Fathers glorious creation.

A semi-accurate schedule of services, bible studies, sing-a-longs and music will be sent to interested individuals and will be posted at my RV Spot (145 Valley View #1).

For those who would like to present a bible study topic or would like to have one presented for discussion, drop me and email at 1967@bibleresearch.org

This is a camp ground, so casual conservative attire is recommended.

Mt. Madonna County Park, is one of the most majestic of Santa Clara County's regional park and recreation areas. This 4,605-acre park is dominated by the redwood forest so characteristic of the Santa Cruz Mountain range. To the east, the park overlooks the Santa Clara Valley, to the west, Monterey Bay.

As the slopes of Mt. Madonna descend toward the valley, the landscape changes from redwood forest to oak woodland, dense chaparral and grassy meadows.

Mt. Madonna Stables offer horseback trail rides, it is a wonderful way to explore the beauty of this park.
